internal struggle..

its been a long enjoyable week...
with mel's visit..
visited to Wet n Wild altho was feeling abit under the weather..
got abit high on the temperature the day before but i think the cold water done its part...
and of course...
the week could always be better..
like only if blardie Spotless will let me know abt the change of location this morning lor...
blardie hell..
then i would not have to rush like mad...
but in any case...
am glad its all over....
and things settled...

argh...
somehow i feel that i had been fighting for something for a long long time..
altho there are occassional times whereby i dun think so...
but sometimes i do feel the drain and i think being tired physically does play a part...
and at such times...
its when just a simple sms or a call to tell u that u are not alone will brighten ur day...
and u can just wait and wait...
and it will never come...

there are many times when u just wanna give it all up..
but u know u can't...
cause of the expectations pple have of u...

then we popped by Surfers for him to have a look at night life in Gold Coast...

we went off to Mt Tamborine...
having sandwiches we made as breakfast...
we arrived there and trekked along one of the few trails..

we had like 5 plates of sliced beef between the 2 of us...
each plate a mountain full...
go with the bottle of red wine we bought from Mt tamborine...

that was last nite..
then this morning..
we went to the beach again..
to tan... and somemore heart-to-heart chat...
then off back home to washup..
and to the airport liao...

well...
we did some calculations at the airport..
and boy..
time really flies.
haha...
7 weeks more and i would be back..

in total..
my car ran 557km while he was here..
alot man....
even i was surprised....

its like he came over and went back so fast..
time really flies when you are having fun...

Linda's birthday dinner was a huge success...
altho my car did act up and refuse to start immediately...
it was all good...

after that was cake cutting then mahjong..
haha.. lost all the way til last game...

covered all losses and won some more..

but only sleep at 4am...
cause was online chatting...

Mel came yesterday morning...
saw him at the hotel lobby...

so being all sleepy with 2 hrs of sleep....
i drove Goldilocks all the way to meet him...

first we walked arnd Brisbane city...
its a rather small city...
after that we went for the Tori Amos meet and greet...
not bad leh..
got to say i am impressed by her in person...
someone who takes care of her fans..
maybe thats why mel is so in love with her...
we took individual pics with her... and boy...
she is really nice...
she asked me if i am here cause of mel..
i said yes...
cause mel wanted me to accompany him..
so i agreed...

had this long hot soak that i fell asleep in the tub..
didn't even know mel couldn't open the door and was knocking outside for so long..
hahaha...
well...
the long soak was relaxing and i fell asleep almost immediately after sitting on the bed...

the following day was good..
we explore the Chinatown of Brisbane and walked arnd somemore before driving back to Gold Coast...
upon arriving at my place...
he seems to like it alot... haha.. keep on praising the landscaping... the set up...
hahaha..
brought him to the beach...
he loves it as well..
haha.. altho its a sunday.
it felt like our personal beach...

As i saw eziq at the club today..

5 mins more, I tell myself.

It was a mess. Lying on my stomach right behind a L-shape tyres shelter with my rifle sticking out in between them, I had a good look around. A number of shelters around are visible. Some made of barrels, a few made up of old rubber tyres stacked up nicely just like in F1 Grand Prix.

A sudden movement caught my eye and I switched my aim to the area of movement. Watching the prey slowly making himself comfortable, I take my aim and pulled the trigger. OOuucch!~ He got up and slowly retreated with the shot obviously fired onto his left mask.

2 more was running towards the other side. Immediately, I let out a few shots. Another had his vision blurred by the projectile while the other took 2 on his chest. Heaving a sigh of relieve, I relaxed.

Bad mistake.

The person who was supposed to cover me had gone elsewhere and I was taken down almost immediately from the back. The bullet came and left a huge mark on my left arm.

It was then, I lost the stealth that I thought I had.
It was then, the time to retreat further back to base commenced.
It was then, I felt that pain.
It was then, I was being marked in blue-black.

Although I got hit, but knowing that I got 2 headshots and 2 on another person before I got killed, it was good. I was satisfied.

Spring is here!!!!

After 3 months of winter..
Spring is finally here...
it had been here for a week..
and its a month late...
much thanks to the 4 months of summer we had here...

hmm...
now got to on the fan when i sleep..
while finding a place to keep my heater..
hmm.... hope it doesn't get too humid...
cause hate summer man....
i love the sun only for sopme reasons...
like after i hang up my laundry.... or when i wanna go to the beach...
other than that..
would pretty much prefer cold cold weather...

at least now we know mel mel's butt would not be freezing la...
