End of Week 4. Sizzler dinner. Bachata CD.

End of Week 4. Although I had been turning away some students, as of this week I have 7 students now. I was teaching from 8am-4pm on Fri and it drained me. Although its good to be doing all that given the money earned, its about time I focus on my own stuff. Not forgetting, I scored my first perfect score for a presentation this semester. Haha. Seems like we got ourselves off a good start. Anyway, with much plans confirmed, seems like this semester is just gonna fly by pretty quick.

Last week, dinner with Sisters was great. Its been a long time since we last met up and Cindy had changed her hairstyle. Haha. Really nice meeting up with the 2 of them once again. We went to Sizzler at Mermaid Beach and had agreed not to patronise that place again. The food was so-so and service was below average. However, still a good evening as its the company which matter more.

Matt and I...

2 Sisters... first time they decided to take funny pics.

Last night we went up Q1 to salsa under the stars. Its definitely a different feeling dancing on the 20th tallest building of the world. Listening to salsa music, dancing on the 77th floor, overlooking the night skyline of Surfers Paradise is definitely romantic. Damn... how I hope she was here with me. Michelle and Trish were saying that it would be romantic if they were to have their wedding reception there. Haha. The night was great and I actually won an Aventura Bachata CD. I was standing close to the DJ console and he said the 2 fastest man who can produce their Queensland driving license will win it. I was one of them! Haha. The next one is in Nov and hopefully, my exams would had finished by then. Shall remember to bring my camera next time.

Work. NDP 09. Weight Loss.

I had been offered alot of work this semester. I think word got around pretty quick about how well I performed last year and last semester when I worked as a mentor for the Uni. Its only the start of Week 3 and I had been approached by 5 students individually for private tuition. Thats on top of the average of 8 hours of classes I teach on a weekly basis. So if everything works out well, I might be earning a salary of at least 1.2k a month. Thats just for working only around 10 hours a week. Hehe. Good money I will say. However, I had just turned down a student who emailed me asking for private tutoring. I feel that I am already quite heavily taxed with my 5 students (some asking for more than one session) and I don't want to put my own studies at risk of earning more money.

4 group projects this semester. Of which, 1 had been taking shape pretty well. The rest got to wait til more details to be released before we can start preparing for it. Seems like a hectic final semester as some people had mentioned. Knowing myself, I will survive. I will not crack under pressure. *wink*

Lately, an acquaintance of mine conveniently 'lost her memory'. Apparently, she got involved in a 'car accident' resulting in her memory loss. One wonders how is it possible when the car was in her garage all along. Hmmm... can't help but be in awe of the lies she told everyone before and after the 'accident'.

Before I forget, Happy Belated National Day Singapore!~ I spent the Sunday enjoying my Yong Tau Foo and HK Roast in celebration of National Day. Well, Darling was performing at Padang and I felt kinda bad that I couldn't be there to show my support. Wow. Another year had passed and time really seems to fly. Thats a good thing I will say.

I was told I lost alot of weight recently and look alot better now. Thank you for the compliment. You know who you are. I guess the weight lost since Apr was never gained back. Well, I wish the best for you too.
