Batam...

We got desperate. We started to search for a place to go. And we finally managed to book a mini holiday at Batam. It was good. Very good. Nice to be around best friends and not be bothered by things happening around for once. Hotel stay was so-so. First stop upon arriving is the Batam Lover's Bridge. Just like Taiwan, 4 guys on a Lover's bridge. Tsk tsk..

Tsk tsk...

then some temple visit.. then final stop was at a Batam mall. Guys being guys, we went to a cafe and start ordering food.

Kena robbed...

murderous friends.

Only then we check into our hotel. It was a so-so hotel. But i guess its the company that makes up for it. Mahjong was the call of the day ( Night i mean...). We played and for once, mel did not lose the most. Hahaha.

Bunch of monkeys.

Come day 2. We swam, chit chat, laze arnd whole day long until its time for massage.

Sun-tanning...

Damn, the masseuses might be half our size but they sure have the strength to apply pain to 4 big guys. Our muscles ache like nobody's business that night. Then dinner was a rip-off.

ZZ acting pitiful... he was enjoying it actually..

We took a shuttle bus to somewhere nearby to watch pple light up fireworks. Hehe. It was definitely worth catching the sight of many Singaporeans buying fireworks just to light them up immediately. Nice and beautiful indeed.

Baaaam.... S$40 blow up just like that...

Haha. Anyway, call of the night was Dai Di. Haha.

Good trip and couldn't be possible without everyone there.. Thanks guys, for making this enjoyable.

Eve.

Christmas this year is very weird.. very strange for me. Although I am back home, but I don't feel the festive mood nor the speciality of it today. I spent the eve not doing much and it was a relaxing day tho. Turned down an offer for late night coffee as mum did not want me to go out too late as well. Kinda strange but I normally will go for it. Sigh. Don't wanna write too much la. Merry Christmas everybody!

Hari Raya Haji~

Hari Raya Haji was good. Met up with the guys then we KTV the whole afternoon. So many funny moments. Daniel singing a Jay Chou song in English, and finally watching our beloved Kaimana singing a song after all the KTV sessions in the past. Seems like someone turning pro finally. Haha.

Pic of the boys.. Daniel, ZZ, Mel, NBX, pro-Dave..

Joining the boys..

Dinner was at Chomp Chomp, Serangoon Gardens. Not bad. We ordered a lot of food. And we finally get to meet Shan Bing for dinner. Seems like ZZ already told her a lot abt us. Overall, a good and enjoyable Hari Raya for all of us.

RUBs Christmas Party 07

My best friends.

One of my best friend said something which made me think alot.

"Its like you are stuck in a whirlpool. You took great pain to get out. Then, when the other person came over and pushed you back in, you willingly agreed to be sunk."

I know I am blogging at 5.20am. Mainly cause I am waiting for Yipoh to come to pick me up as I have to send her to airport. Another reason is that I was up thinking of what he said.

Thanks guys! It really helps to have best friends like you all whereby honest opinions and thoughts can be aired freely.

Well, I believe I know what I am doing, but I need you guys to believe me. I would not be worse off than I was compared to that time. That, I promise.

Update finally.

Yes, I am working now. That explains the lack of update.

Mel and ZZ Belated Dinner
Mel and ZZ birthday dinner was good. Very good. Afternoon was mahjong with Mel and ZZ with my mum and dad. All in good fun and really hope more to come really soon~ We had so much to catch up on and if I didn't have to work and if David wasn't that tired, we would had stayed longer to chat.

RUBs Christmas Party
Party was a huge success. We were had a good time having the food and it was well organised by Danny. Got to give him the credits for doing everything and making everything looks o simple. The dance at Yvonne's place was good and no doubt we had fun looking at the presents and got to say I received my third Christmas present. Its a black T-shirt with a word 'PERFORMER' across the chest. Some say suits me well... Haha.

Christmas Presents.
My first present was from grandma. I needed an extra harddisk and she let me choose what I want and so I got mine at SITEX. A Seagate Freeagent 160 GB!

My second present was from my dearest. Christmas tree boxers@!! My god.. She is starting to turn out like mum I believe. Mum started getting us boxers as well but now she had stopped. Thank God! Well,.. like mother like daughter. Very cute indeed~!

Third present from kaimin during the RUBs gift exchange. Although its unwrapped, its a very nice T-shirt. Hehe.

A wonderful date.

It had been such a long time since I had so much fun. A date it is. And it was a very bad start from the very beginning. Blame it on the addictive Hong Kong serials. They are way better than Taiwanese and Korean dramas. Anyway, traffic was a bitch. So I ended up being late for an hour. Felt so bad.

It was a good evening. Dinner at a German bar, drinking beer and chit chat all the way til 11. With nowhere to go, the only place we could think of was to go Union for a dance. As we about to approach my car, I figured that why not go ktv instead. Never regret that decision. Hehehe.

Made a reservation for 2 at 1am, drove to Orchard and had coffee for an hour before we begin our singing marathon.

Wonderful. Good old fun~.

The singing session ended at 4am. Then to round off the wonderful evening, I sent her home.

Its been such a long time since we had that much fun and well, hopefully more to come~! Tiring day as I only got home at arnd 5am, but its worth it~! Hehehe.
